At Health Wellness Medical Astoria PLLC, we provide comprehensive ADHD care , including assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management of stimulant and non-stimulant medications in full compliance with New York State law.
Important Compliance Information:
- ADHD medications such as amphetamine/dextroamphetamine (e.g., Adderall) and methylphenidate (e.g., Ritalin) are classified as Schedule II controlled substances under NY State law.
- Schedule II prescriptions cannot be automatically refilled. Each prescription must be issued by a licensed provider and comply with NY Public Health Law and NYCRR regulations. New York State Senate+1
- We ensure that every controlled substance prescription including ADHD medications is provided with appropriate evaluation, documentation, and electronic prescribing per state requirements. New York State Department of Health

How it works?
- Schedule an appointment with one of our licensed clinicians.
- We review your medical history and determine the appropriate treatment plan.
- If ADHD medication is medically indicated, we issue a compliant prescription electronically to your pharmacy.
- For ongoing therapy, we coordinate follow-ups and issue new prescriptions as medically appropriate.
